UNMET NEED FOR FAMILY PLANNING

Unmet need for family planning was highest in ARMM.

1) Unmet need for family planning refers to the proportion of currently married women who were not using any family planning method and did not want any more children or preferred to space births.

2) Unmet need for spacing births includes pregnant women whose pregnancies were mistimed, amenorrheic women whose birth of last child was mistimed, and women who want to wait two or more years for the next birth.

3) Unmet need for limiting births refers to pregnant women whose pregnancies were unwanted, amenorrheic women who want no more children.
