1984 First HIV infection reported in the Philippines
1988 Establishment of the National AIDS/STD Prevention and Control Program (NASPCP) and AIDS Registry
1988-1990 USAID supports projects for the strengthening of laboratories and communication programs.
1988-1993 First AIDS Medium Term Plan (AMTP) is developed and implemented as guide in forming national strategies and interventions needed given the prevailing HIV and AIDS situation
1991 Remedios AIDS Information Center (RAIC) was established turned to Remedios AIDS Foundation in 1992
  Philippine AIDS Hotline or the AIDS Hotline project started
1992 Establishment of the Philippine National AIDS Council (PNAC), a multi-sectoral advisory committee responsible for HIV and AIDS policies, by virtue of Executive Order 39
  RAF's Women's AIDS Hotline was established
  Remedios started integration of STI , gender and sexuality issues with its programs.
  RAF pioneers in the provision of Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT) in the Philippines
1994 International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) in Cairo agreement has resulted to Remedios integrate reproductive health with its programs.
  RAF chairs HIV AIDS Network Philippines (HAN) and seat as a representative to PNAC for three years
1993-1999 Second AMTP is developed and implemented
1993-2003 USAID pilots AIDS Surveillance and Education Project (ASEP) in 10 Philippine sites
1994 Establishment of Pinoy Plus Association, the first organization of people living with HIV and AIDS (PLWHAs) in the Philippines
1995 Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) supports STI/AIDS Central Reference Laboratory
1995 First Filipino movie with HIV theme: The Dolzura Cortez Story
1995 Bahay Lingap (Halfway Home of Asymptomatic Filipino PLWHAs) is inaugurated
1996 Creation of HIV/AIDS Core Teams (HACT)
1997 Philippines hosts the 4th International Congress on AIDS in Asia and the Pacific
1997 Another Filipino movie with HIV theme: The Sara Jane Salazar Story, was shown in theatres
1997 Establishment of STI/AIDS Cooperative Central Laboratory (SACCL)
1988 Enactment of Republic Act 8504, or The Philippine AIDS Prevention and Control Act of 1988
1999 Remedios established Youth Zone- shopping mall based youth center for the youth.
2000-2004 Third (3rd) AMTP is developed and implemented Local AIDS Councils are created in some cities, institutionalizing LGU and NGO partnerships at the city level. Local AIDS ordinances including provisions for budgetary allocations for HIV and AIDS activities are also enacted.
2000 RAF clinic Health Laboratory facility in Malate provides various clinic laboratory and FP services
2001 UNGASS Declaration of Commitment on HIV/AIDS. The Declaration details various strategies to address 11 broad areas in the battle against HIV and AIDS with clear targets and timelines
  Remedios replicated Youth Zone in Cebu City.
  Remedios Community Support Center for persons living with HIV AIDS was established. ACT@com.base community workers for HIV AIDS Care and support services started.
2002 UNAIDS Best practice on AIDS telephone hotline counseling among 4 cases around the world - Remedios AIDS Hotline
  Remedios along with PHANSuP spearheaded the consultations among NGOs on UNGASS.
2004 UNAIDS adopts the "Three Ones", calling on countries to each adopt a common action framework, a National AIDS coordinating authority, and a country monitoring and evaluation plan.
  Philippines is a recipient of Global Funds AIDS project support Round Three (3)
  Remedios hold its 1st International HIV AIDS Program Management workshop : Delivering results in Chiang Mai Thailand
  RAF operationalized Family Planning text messaging technology
2005 Development of the Medium Term Philippine Development Plan (MTPDP) Development of the fourth (4th) AIDS Medium Term Plan (2005-2010)
  Philippines approved for GFTAM AIDS Project Round Five (5)
  Rated Y 93.1 SMASH FM radio for the youth was launched in Cebu City
2006 - Remedios AIDS Foundation and Pinoy Plus started consultation meetings on : Universal Access to Prevention Treatment Care and Support Initiative started
