ABOUT THE PHILIPPINES
The Philippines is an archipelago and is located in the South East Asia. The Philippines is composed of three major islands namely Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Its total surface area is 300,000 square kilometers with a total of 7,107 islands. The Philippines is bounded by the Bashi Channel in the North, the Pacific Ocean in the East, the South China Sea in the West and by the Sulu and Celebes Sea in the south.
