Remedios AIDS Foundation Inc Philippines in partnership with International Council on Management for Population Programees (ICOMP) Malaysia and AIDS Education Program (AEP) ChiangMai University ChiangMai Thailand held the 1st HIV AIDS Programme Management Workshop in ChiangMai Thailand. The workshop The workshop has attracted 11 participants from different countries namely: India, Nepal, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Armenia, Australia and Thailand.
The workshop objectives are the following:
- To provide participants with the latest Asia Pacific and global developments and trends on HIV AIDS
- To strengthen their competencies on HIV AIDS program management through new knowledge, user-friendly management approaches and tools
- To provide interest in adapting and distilling lessons learned to practices in HIV AIDS management
The course utilizes various training methodologies such as participatory approaches to learning, lectures/discussion groups, case study visits and in the end action plans.
