#pinoyrh Listserver...Gateway
to Philippine Reproductive Health (RH) Information
RAF in partnership with the Philippine National AIDS Council
(PNAC), Health Action Information Network (HAIN), UNAIDS, and the Ford
Foundation, ventured into the creation of the #PINOYRH listserver. Pinoy RH is
an electronic forum where information about sexual and reproductive health in
the Philippines shared among participating members. Pinoy RH helps in keeping
people informed about issues relating to reproductive health, such as family
planning, maternal mortality, unsafe abortion, STDs and HIV/AIDS. It also allows
sharing of ideas and experiences with other members and discuss issues that are
important to oneself and his/ her program. Participation in this forum will
significantly contribute to the quality of the discussions. The exchange of
information and experiences could help reduce duplication of efforts, and would
benefit the larger community.
As of June 2001,pinoyRH has about 200 subscribing members. The
next move is to key contact coordinators from the provinces to act as
moderators. This listserver is an unmoderated type of listserver, it is non
funded and run by volunteers. To join :
